Valletta is a small capital, there are only 6000 people living in Valletta.
This city has not always been Malta´s capital, the first capital of Malta was actually Mdina.
The streets of Valletta are old and go parallel, and the city is surrounded by big walls.
We saw a nice fountain and then walked around in the city where we saw a lot of churches and the parliament.
We also saw the old Italian and Spanish knights´ house.
After that we went to a beautiful garden, there also was a fountain and a lot of plants too.
At 12 pm we watched the canon shooting; it was loud but amazing.
Patricia:
I got a henna tattoo, took some nice pictures with my friends, bought some souvenirs and watched the canon shooting with my friend Anna.
Felicia:
I took some pictures with my friends, bought some souvenirs and ate a sandwich.
Anna:
I watched my friend Patricia getting a henna tattoo, took some pictures with my friends, bought some souvenirs for my family and a big coconut.
Sara:
I watched the canon shooting and took some beautiful pictures there and went to a pretty fountain in a park. After that I went to a souvenir shop and bought lots of magnets and keychains.
I then bought some snacks in a supermarket.
We loved Valletta, it´s a wonderful city.
